” James Blankenship of Kent is the winner of a 2012Chevrolet Cruze in Hoban’s car raffle. His winning ticket was drawn at halftime during the Hoban vs. Benedictine football game Oct. 19. Blankenship bought his ticket at an Acme Fresh Market in Kent from Earlene Johnson, a player on Hoban’s girls basketball team member. Thirty teams and organizations will split the take of $52,600.Over the past two years the school has raised $100,000, thanks to the Van Devere Bunch and its “Thrive & Drive” program.
