This Jeans day hits us a little closer to home as we are raising money to help a fellow employee in a time of need. Please participate by wearing jeans and donating. Every little bit helps and every dollar will be matched by VanDevere.
This year’s winner of the Akron Rotary’s 2017 Chili Open Thrive & Drive car is Maranda Trexler! The Akron Rotary had very successful Chili Open where they were able to raise over $240,000 to support this year’s summer camp program for children with special needs. The VanDevere Bunch and Chevy are proud to sponsor and support the Akron Rotary in building a better Akron. Congratulations to Maranda and the Akron Rotary!
This month, Jeans Day at VanDevere will be held on Thursday March 16th. As usual all employees will be permitted to wear nice jeans to work in exchange for a donation to Akron Pregnancy Services. On Thursday Feb 16th VanDevere will be holding their monthly Jeans Day. Employees will be permitted to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to this great community organization. Items needed are listed on flyer below, or, monetary donations are also accepted. Thanks to everyone who continues to make a difference every month and taking part in these Jeans Day fundraisers.
Every month VanDevere holds a “Jeans Day” where employees are permitted to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to various community organization. This month all donations will be going to Akron Children’s Hospitals “Change Bandit” Fundraiser. All funds raised by employees will be matched by VanDevere so “jean up” and help support this great cause.
There are many kids, even in our own community, that go though winter without a heavy coat. This great organization takes donations (both monetary and new/used coats) and distributes them to families that are unable to provide these children with coats to keep them warm during the winter months.
On December 15th, employees are permitted to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to Coats for Kids. Customers, you are more than welcome to drop off your used coats or donations to us between now and December 15th as well and we will make sure that everything gets to where it needs to be.

Community Volunteer Group (CVG) is housed out of ABT: Home of the Bridge and Temple and have been serving needs of Summit County for over 3 years. Thursday the 17th employees are permitted to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to this great organization. Keep in mind, as always, VanDevere will match every dollar donated.
This Jeans Day we are raising money for 3 wonderful organizations that continue to help support cancer patients, survivors, and research for people of all ages. Employees are permitted to wear their nice jeans to work on October 27th in exchange for a donation to one of these organizations. As always, the VanDevere organization will match every dollar donated. Thank you to all of those who continue to make our Jeans Days fundraisers a success.
This month VanDevere will be holding Jeans Day on September 8th supporting Garage Ministries of Wadsworth. This great organization helps introduce at-rick or fringe youths to Christ and has been doing so since 2005.
Employees will be permitted to wear jeans to work on Sept. 8th in exchange for a donation to this organization. As always, VanDevere will match every dollar donated by employees.
